Sulpom has installed enclosed Biogas tanks in our effluent treatment system to capture methane which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming.
SULPOM implements efficient usage of palm oil mill waste in a cogeneration environment to provide electrical power and steam for our own processes in addition to supplying excess electricity to the national grid.
The Seri Ulu Langat Palm Oil Mill (SULPOM) was established in 1972 and is located in Dengkil, Selangor Malaysia. The mill processes 280k mt of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and circa 53kmt of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) per annum.
The second mill; Seri Langat Palm Oil mill (est. 1982) produces 30k mt of CPO per annum and has a FFB capacity processing of 30mt per hour and is located in Jenjarom, Selangor.
