• Sulpom Group is blessed with abundant biomass resources which can be converted into alternative energy or useful eco-products.
  • Processed empty fruit bunch fibre and shell generated by our Palm Oil Mills process are traditionally used as solid fuels for steam boilers. The steam generated is used to run turbines for electricity production.
  • Sulpom Group took the opportunity to drive its renewable energy division into biomass cogeneration power plant during the introduction of Malaysian National Renewable Energy Policy. With our pursuit for excellence in the field we received recognition in the Cogeneration category at the 35th ASEAN Energy Awards in 2017.
