  • To generate a recurring income stream, SULPOM has joint ventured with Dolphin Biogas Sdn Bhd (DBSB) and Biogas Sulpom Sdn Bhd (BSSB) to undertake Biogas Methane capture System to produce energy.
  • BSSB secured a feed-in tariff approval from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority of Malaysia in 2014 for a 2MW biogas plant. Under the 16-year feed-in tariff system, DBSB will be selling the renewable energy from the Biogas plants to Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
  • In the long-term, this renewable energy technology will help reduce the carbon footprint and reduce the use of fossil fuels, saving forests and reducing air and water pollution.
